Mission & Vision:
The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth (RMHFW, the House) provides a supportive home-away-from home for families of children receiving medical treatment at area hospitals. Our vision is to never turn away a family.
The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth is a 55,000 square foot facility which offers all the amenities of home: bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, playrooms, TV rooms, laundry rooms and outdoor play areas. The House provides a temporary home for families when they need it most. Studies have shown that children cope better when family is near, and since 1981, the RMHFW has been a supportive and caring environment for thousands of families.
The House has 58 bedrooms with private bathrooms, closet, dresser, cable TV, mini-refrigerator, towels and bed linens. Each bedroom is equipped with queen-size Tempur-Pedic beds and a La-Z-boy chair. Tempur-Pedic and La-Z-boy are national donors of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
